TREATMENT OF WATERS WITH METALS AND MINING
The remainings of the operations of extraction and processing of mineral resources are one of the largest waste streams at present, some of these are inert and their environmental risk is derived from the suffocation of riverbeds and the collapse of stockpiles in large volumes, however others, such as those generated by the non-ferrous metals extraction industry, contain large quantities of dangerous substances, such as heavy metals, since in their processing the generation of acidic or alkaline fluids is produced.
For the treatment of waters polluted by heavy metals coming from the dehydration of mining sludge, in SERECO we design, install and operate physico-chemical treatment plants.
This process generates the precipitation of the metals that are transferred to the sludge settled in the treatment plant and that must be dehydrated later by a filter press, while the treated water is sent to the existing pouring point, depending on the corresponding authorization or they are recirculated in the mining productive process for reuse.

For the treatment of these waters contaminated by hydrocarbons from Refineries.
The scope of the work begins with the extraction of sludge by ATEX dredger, dehydration by centrifugation of said sludge and ends with the transportation and proper management of the resulting solid fraction and the return of water back to the pit or purification plant of its own installation.
As mentioned, the extraction machine will be placed on the surface of the API raft and moved on it to perform a sweep of the mud contained in the bottom by the submersible arm.
